About two months ago, Toni lamented the lack of Doctor Who; it wasn’t long after that I discovered I could access the series through BBC America. I offered to watch it with her if she so desired.
I’d never seen Doctor Who before, but like any good little geek, I knew about it. Watching the series with Toni, I’ve decided it’s pretty fun. We watched the mid-season finale recently titled “When a Good Man Goes to War” — not gonna lie, I totally dig it. I’d read about in an article on After Ellen (okay, so I read the title but didn’t read the article — I didn’t want to risk too many spoilers!) and I admit, I was intrigued.
Since watching the episode and wandering around the Interwebs, I’ve learned that there are some folk who think two new characters Madame Vastra and Jenny should get their own spin-off. Dr Matthew Ashton gives us Five Reasons Why.
Dude, I would totally watch. In fact, if I have to move back to England, I would even get cable. Chicks wielding swords who have charming British accents? Totally worth £30 a month.
